    Hallo HW,
    ich muss wohl auf meinem Android Oreo ( Resurrection Remix for Samsung S5 LTE+ G901F ) whatsapp installieren.

    Mit einem xposed privacy module kann man doch Einträge aus dem Adressbuch gezielt freigeben , oder?

    Wie geht das?
    Was brauche ich?

    Für Xposed erstmal die xposed*.zip in TWRP flashen und die XposedInstaller_*.apk

    Hmm ich dachte eigentlich, XPrivacy war tot, aber dank Deines Posts sehe ich, daß es weitergeht :party::hearteyecat:

    Viel helfen kann ich nicht (Xposed zu lange nicht benutzt), aber damals war es "bloß" xposed installieren und dann über deren App das gewünschte Modul installieren. "Gezielt Einträge freigeben" kann ich mir kaum vorstellen (früher ging es eher um den Datenhunger der Apps - entweder keine oder Fake-Daten).

    Etwaige Probleme ergeben sich ganz von alleine :D Insofern gut, wenn Du das vorher woanders testen kannst (und immer komplettes Backup vorhalten) :cool:

    Und Danke für Deinen Hinweis - hätte ich sonst total verpennt.

    You can star contacts (make contacts favorite) in the Android contacts app. Mostly the 'star' is in the upper right corner in the contact data.

    Due to limitations of the Android contacts provider it is not possible to block/allow contacts by contacts group in a reliable way.
